aahh, I love it when things work out good. my friend just called me, he's on his way out here to pick me up so we can go to the bluegrass festival.. we are going to camp out over night and im sure it will be non stop partying the whole night..
Song of the moment: Eels- rags to rags
Today I was supposed to go and see Ween play up at the alyeska resort daylodge, I ended up having to work which pretty much put a stop to those plans.. and today a friend and I made plans to go to the bluegrass festival tonight and guess what.. that fell thru as well. god damn it. thats sucks, so I am home staring at a computer screen..
a friend of mine was telling me about his roommate today, I guess his girlfriend broke up with him and is continuing to flaunt her availability all over town(if you know what I mean). He is so depressed that he layed on the floor, in his boxers, staring at the wall. This is what he was doing when my friend went to bed @ 12:30, and when he woke up @ 8:00. I feel for the guy, but shit.. that girl is obviously a horrible person and doesn't deserve him anyways, right? I wonder if people like that are really happy with themselves.

Song of the moment: Elliot Smith- Junk Bond Trader
I just got back from seeing The Others. before going I had this sneeking suspicion that I was about to see another cliche suspense/horrer film. The opposite is the case. I absolutely loved it, the plot, the character development, the acting... all superb. I never really had any great respect for Nicole Kidman before I saw her in Eyes Wide Shut, Kubrick really has a strange way of showing you the other side of the actors in his films. To tell you the truth if it wasnt for Nicole Kidman I probably would not have even gone to see The Others. The one thing that bothered me about the film is that the end barred some similarities to The Sixth Sense, which was a good film but way over hyped..
work pretty much sucked today, as it usually does. It was raining today, which I liked. Its nice to have a change in scenery every once in a while, it really helps you to see things a little differently.

Alright, well this is my first post and im happy to say that I finally have my own blog. And considering that no one is going to read this im really not going to go into depth on my personal happenings, but yesterday I got an email from my old computer teacher saying that she would be glad to write a letter of recommendation for me.. this is great considering I emailed her three weeks ago, I just figured she either didn't want to write it or she didn't have time... anyways, it worked out great for me!
in the town where i was born lived a man who sailed to see, he told us of his life on the yellow submarine
